Isles Yacht Club members are never at a loss for activities they can participate in and enjoy. In fact, there are over 20 clubs within our Club that offer specific events in
a wide variety of areas!
If you enjoy table games, you can visit our Compass Room and chose from Bridge, Mexican Train, or Mah-Jongg among other games or stop by the Bridge building for our weekly Poker Night. Our dedicated Billiards Room with top-shelf equipment is available for social or tournament play. And our Book Club keeps members up-to-date on the latest and greatest "reads."
Playing card & board games is a popular activity at the Club.

Past commodores of the IYC and other yacht clubs of similar stature formed a Chapter of the IOBG in 1981 which remains active and is a vibrant part of IYC. The combines strength and experience of our members contribute to the well-being of Isles Yacht Club.
Our Chapter exists to encourage and to promote the traditions of yachting. Blue Gavel participates in IYC ceremonies including Flag Retreats, Fleet Review, Memorial Day and activities that encourage the interest and service of qualified proven Past Commodores. The Chapter works to support the policies, programs and endeavors of the Officers and Directors of IYC that are in the best interests of the Club and will provide, if requested, advice, counsel or opinions of the Officers and Directors.
The Chapter provides a forum for Past Commodores to meet and cultivate ties of friendship, honor and social relationships and generally meets monthly.
