The members of Isles Yacht Club are an active group and there are a myriad of Club amenities available to them. Whether you're a tennis player, a golfer, a biker or just interested in becoming more physically fit, we offer superb facilities of which our members can take advantage.
Our first-class tennis program offers recreational, social and League play as well as clinics and lessons to help members improve their skills. Our tennis pro, Margit Bannon, will work with you one-on-one or in group situations.
The fitness center offers state-of-the art equipment and is open 24/7. Private contractors provide classes based on member interest and personal trainers also are available.
Our club has reciprocal golfing privileges with St. Andrews Country Club and Twin Isles Country Club in Punta Gorda and Kingsway Country Club in Lake Suzy. And our frequent bike outings offer members a way to combine fun and fitness into one enjoyable activity.
Saturday Bike to Breakfast: Isles Yacht Club has a friendly group of bikers that enjoy getting together and socializing over breakfast, while sharing tips on every subject from boating to shopping. Every Saturday morning at 7:20 a.m. the group gathers in front of the club and bike to one of several local restaurants for breakfast.
Recreational bikers also get together for about six rides a year, generally the second Monday of the month from October - April. Each leader plans a casual bike ride of about 10-16 miles on bike paths within driving distance in Punta Gorda, followed by lunch.
You don't need to belong to a country club to play golf.
Isles Yacht Club has reciprocity with three local golf courses: St. Andrews South and Twin Isles Country Club in Punta Gorda and Kingsway Country Club in Lake Suzy. This special privilege allows both golf and dining at these three fine facilities.
Isles Yacht Club and their guests play tennis on four well maintained Har-Tru courts. The Club's extensive tennis program includes recreational tennis, social tennis, competitive league play for both men and women at various levels of play, professional private instruction, group clinics, team clinics, special tournaments and regular social events.

Water aerobics is a great combination of fun and exercise- low impact on joints and a beneficial workout for people of any age, size or fitness level. Not to mention there is nothing to taking a dip in cool water on a hot summer day.

The Fitness Center program at The Isles Yacht Club consists of a first class commercial-grade fitness facility that is open to all members seven days a week 24/hrs a day. The Fitness Center cardio and weight training equipment is available on a first come, first served basis. Doors are open during normal club hours and available after hours, using a security code available to club members. A list of personal trainers is available in the fitness center.
