Since its inception, Isles Yacht Club's primary mission has been "to associate those persons having a common interest in boating; to provide boating and social facilities for its members and their guests; to promote good boating practices and to promote regattas and other types of marine competition."

Located on beautiful Charlotte Harbor in Punta Gorda, we have a fully equipped 45-slip marina, fuel dock and bay side pool area
. Contact the Dockmaster upon approach for instructions. He can be reached at 941.639.2652 or 941.769.0842. Isles Yacht Club monitors Channel 16 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm daily.

Boat Arrival

Using Chart #11426, proceed east from Boca Grande Pass until abeam of Marker 5, just off Cape Haze.  Turn to port and head north. Pass Marker 1, and then head 027 degrees to Marker 2, then 060 degrees to Marker 3, head 140 degrees to the channel entrance marked by day marker 1 and red flasher 2.  Enter canal and make first port turn. Continue to IYC dock. Club staff monitors Channel 16 daily from 0800 to 1600 hours.


General Information 

The Dockmaster is in attendance from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm daily.  Laundry facilities and men's and women's full bathrooms with showers are available. No laundry or towels may be hung on boats. Gasoline and diesel fuel are available when the Dockmaster is on duty, charged to your Club. Leashed pets are allowed in the marina area only. No outdoor cooking is allowed onboard.  All food and beverage consumed on Club grounds must be purchased at the Club.

Bikes, with baskets, locks and helmets are available free of charge to visitors from ashore or afloat through the Punta Gorda Bicycle Loaner Program. Bikes can be signed out through the Dock Master’s Office from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm seven days a week. Program brochures include further information and biking maps of the city. Hard copies are available at the Club's Activities Center or by clicking HERE.

Reciprocity

Full reciprocity is offered to all FCYC members except those who are non-resident members of other FCYC Clubs. All bills will be sent to your Club. No cash transactions are permitted.

Dockage

Dockage is granted to full resident members of fellow FCYC clubs by advance reservation only. Visitors must identify themselves by presenting Club membership cards. For your first 24 hours, there is no charge. Following that, the Dockage Fee is $1.50 per foot per day with a minimum of $8 per day. Electricity charges, including first day, are based on lines used.
