LOG Article
The Isle-ettes held their first annual Holiday Boutique on November 24. The vendors selling their wares were excellent and quality purchases were made by all those who attended. The event was a success and we are looking forward to next year. A special thanks to Directors Marie Smith and Michele Rowzie who did a great job organizing the whole event.

We had a very merry holiday luncheon in December. Our members bake sale was a wonderful way to add a variety of goodies to our family favorites and share ours with others. We had an ugly and a beautiful Christmas attire contest with prizes for each. A gift exchange and Christmas trivia contest topped off the afternoon. We all found out how little we knew about Christmas trivia as no one got it all right. Thank you to Vice President, Susie Wood for planning this fun day, to Cate Peterson for providing the trivia questions and to Director, Marie Smith for handling the baked goods sale.

In January the Isle-ettes will have their regular meeting and lunch on January 9. The program will be Skin Care Essentials, presented by Dr. Kristen Flaharty of Trilogy Laboratories. On January 20, we will be having an evening dinner and very special one-woman show presented by Janina Birtolo. Janine will portray Marjory Stoneman Douglas, an environmentalist and author of The Everglades: River of Grass. This event is open to ALL members and you are welcome to bring guests. This annual Fashion Show will be held on February 2 featuring fashions from Anthony’s Ladies Apparel.
