Isles Yacht Club members are never at a loss for activities they can participate in!!
 

Blue Gavel
The Chapter provides a forum for Past Commodores to meet and cultivate ties of friendship,
honor, and social relationships. Blue Gavel participates in IYC ceremonies including Flag Retreats,
Fleet Review, Memorial Day and activities that encourage the interest and service of qualified proven
Past Commodores. Past Commodores of Yacht Clubs that offer similar facilities are welcome to
inquire about joining the Chapter of the International Order of The Blue Gavel.
 
Book Club
The Book Club meets the 2nd Monday of every month from September to May to discuss two
books, one non-fiction and one fiction.

Isle-ette's
The Isle-ette's are committed to a fun loving, welcoming and positive experience for all women of the Isles Yacht Club.  They meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month from September to May. The meeting starts at 11 A.M. and is followed by a luncheon and program. Their goal is to create an envirnoment of hospitality to all women who wish to attend a meeting, luncheon or other activity sponsored by the group.

IYC Women
The purpose of this club is to foster volunteering and physical support within our community. This organization does not raise money for any organization or cause. We contribute our time as a group of like-minded women who represent the IYC in a way that shows empathy for others by partnering in our town's projects.

Lecture Series
Lectures are held January thru March. The Lecture Series
explores varied backgrounds, interests, and talents of IYC members and to bring members
attention to actions taking place in Punta Gorda.
 
Singles Group
This group provides an opportunity for singles to enjoy Club activities. A special singles table
is provided at most Club functions.
